Awards Juries 2017
We are currently in the process of confirming judges. There are four juries:
- Advertising One
- Advertising Two
- Broadcast Craft
Each year, we tweak and alter categories to better reflect how we work today and the changing forms of communication we use. As a result, there has been no separate digital jury for the last number of years, after all, digital is not separate to advertising and design but a part of it. However, where warranted, individual expertise will be sought to make sure that all categories are judged fairly and stringently.
For the second year, entries will first be judged by each jury remotely. Our 2017 ICAD juries will then convene at Screen Scene in Dublin on 24th & 25th March to award the 2017 ICAD bells.
We are delighted to announce that our first fully confirmed jury is Design:
Brian Nolan, Detail (Chairperson)
Tony Brook, Spin (International)
Kathryn Wilson, Slater
Kate Brangan, Or Studio
Seán Mongey, Post
The Advertising juries will be chaired by Mike Garner, Chemistry and Ronan Nulty, Publicis. An international judge also sits on each jury. Joining Tony will be Bruno Vohwinkel, Publicis Milan (Advertising); Logan Wilmont, Logan Wilmont Consults (Advertising) and James Bland, Blink (Broadcast Craft).
We will continue to share insights on the ICAD Awards process throughout the 2017 Awards season. Keep an eye on The Bulletin and our social media accounts.
