About Des

Des Creedon has worked for over 16 years as a copywriter in some of Ireland’s top advertising agencies. He learned his craft in McConnell’s Advertising under the scrutiny of Gerry Kennedy and John Fanning. He moved to DDFH&B and then spent 7 years in Publicis until joining Cawley Nea\TBWA as Creative Director in 2014. Des has won over 81+ Industry awards but more importantly for his Mammy, his painting was selected as the front cover of the prestigious ‘Galway Advertiser Christmas Art competition’ 24 years ago. Des is known within the industry for his absolutely amazing comical writing, the bags of awards he’s won and the most amazing autobiographical bios in the business. Des wrote this.
