Arice / (Andrea Arice: http://arice.co/) wants to recast personal experiences and perceptions; which come to life thanks to 3D graphics. By arousing emotions, evoking forgotten memories, or galvanising visions to freely interpret; Arice lets the viewers wander into alternative worlds through his eyes. For his work he rejects any kind of label.

Computer graphics are just a medium, for a wider purpose: streaming visions able to astonish and leave an emotional imprint.

His background includes a variety of experiences within CG. His interests in fashion, photography, coding, music and design inform his unique visual perspective.

After graduating in Computer Science, he moves from Milan to Dublin, joining Raygun in 2015. This is the time when his short film “Don’t You Know You Are Queen” comes to life: an artistic outlet; dictated by a deep, personal need to share his point of view about some aspects of today’s society. D.Y.K.Y.A.Q. marks Arice’s debut as a Director, while putting into practice many diverse technical skills acquired in the previous years, with the following results: SAIFF winner for Best Editing, MFFF nominee for Best Experimental Fashion Film, MFFF nominee for Mercedes Benz Special Award, Vimeo STAFF PICK.

D.Y.K.Y.A.Q. can be considered as a turning point in his career as a digital artist, coinciding with joining the creative team in Windmill where he starts working on a variety of international projects.

It is quickly followed by the short film LURE (in collaboration with Vogue) which screened for the first time alongside D.Y.K.Y.A.Q. at the Milan Fashion Film Festival in September 2016.

His latest work takes shape thanks to a collaboration with the Italian fashion maison ETRO (opening video for ETRO’s Main Fashion Show, Milan Fashion Week, January 2017).
