Staged as a series of three interconnecting “rooms”, this installation was the first comprehensive presentation of photographer Eamonn Doyle’s Dublin trilogy originally published in book form as i, ON and End. The works were created over three years (2013 – 2016), with all photographs taken on the same inner-city streets of Dublin, just outside the photographer’s front door. Conceived as both publication and installation, End. is a collaborative work by Eamonn Doyle, Niall Sweeney and David Donohoe (the title “End.” refers to both the concluding third body of work, as well as the trilogy as a whole). Built around the photographs of Doyle, it also features serigraph drawing by Sweeney and three-channel sound by Donohoe. 2,000 sqft, Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles, France, Les Rencontres de la Photographie Arles 2016
