On a Sunday in May we set up our ‘It’s your Call’ promotion in a Dublin pub. From the outside it looked like a simple game console that was distributing RWC prizes, but it was what was inside, powering it that was really exciting!

Pub goers played a simple coin toss game. If they called it right, they won a rugby ball signed by none other than Rugby Legend Jonah Lomu. What was surprising about their signed ball was that it was personalised. As more and more people played and won, their balls got more and more personalised.

As time went on, the crowd began to wonder how Heineken were doing this, until we revealed all. One of the all time best players had been inside the games console the whole time!

The video nicely set up the “It’s your Call” pub promotion for viewers, promoting the fact that they had the chance to win the ultimate prize of a coin toss at the World Cup. And in the first 24 hours of posting the video, it received over a million views.
