Elaine first joined ICAD back in 2003 in what was to become an ever-evolving role in an ever-evolving organisation. She most enjoys working on diverse projects with so many creative people whilst protecting what she sees as most crucial to ICAD’s core - creativity and integrity, managed well. This is most pertinent to the Awards, where recent years have seen huge changes to the type of work being entered and yet, it is the strength of the idea that shines through. Elaine takes pride in building on ICAD’s legacy, most notably through the ICAD Upstarts programme, the ICAD awards book and the relaunched Campaign: the journal of the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design. She comes from a fine art background and has just completed a masters in Design History and Material Culture in NCAD.
