ADC NY Exhibition 2008

Every year the ADC sends its International Annual Awards Exhibition on a worldwide tour and ICAD was given the first slot for 8 October 2008. The exhibition recognises the best work of the year from the US in print and broadcast advertising, interactive media, graphic design, publication design, packaging, photography and illustration. This exhibition was held in Bank of Scotland, St. Stephens Green and was opened by the United States Ambassador to Ireland, Thomas Foley.

Ian Doherty, 2006 President of ICAD whose father Gerard was the second ever President of the Institute instigated the event. Here we have a photo of the two Doherty ICAD Presidents with the US Ambassador.
