A workshop on writing, storyboarding and shooting animated film

This ICADemy workshop is pitched at junior to mid-level creatives. An informative and inspiring afternoon, it will take place in three parts:
1. Animating Advertising with Rachel Carey, Copywriter, Boys & Girls
Using world-class examples, this short session will explore how and when advertising concept and animation work best together.
2. Production Pitfalls with Max Brady, Executive Producer, Pull the Trigger
This brief session will prime attendees for making sure great creative can work in the real world.
3. The Craft Session with Paper Panther
This workshop is tailored to a professional audience and will make up the bulk of the afternoon. You’ll write, storyboard and shoot an animated film in this stop-motion workshop. And you get to use plasticine to make yourself a better creative!
It doesn’t end there either, Windmill Lane and Whirligig will edit and score the films.
This workshop is part of a new series of half-day workshops under our learning banner ‘ICADemy’. ICADemy combines theory and practice, allowing you to really engage in the creative process. You can call it training if you like, it will definitely benefit your professional life, but it’s more than that. It’s about giving you the tools to reach creative excellence. And it’s fun.
