Dearbhla graduated from NCAD in 2011 with an honours degree in Visual Communication and went on to work as a graphic designer at The Irish Times from 2012 to 2015. She is fond of comics and cats, and has a tendency to put her hand in the air anytime someone says the words ‘we need an illustration’. She knows all the words to Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start The Fire. All of them.
