Digicel wanted to commemorate the passing of Muhammad Ali.
We created a simple illustration that brought to life Ali’s most famous quote about himself “Float like a butterfly, Sting like a bee, his hands can’t hit what his eye’s can’t see.”
We did this by simply and beautifully fusing the body of a bee with the wings of a butterfly. The layout was reminiscent of a butterfly collector’s frame, where rare butterflies are lovingly displayed for all to see.
It was extremely important to us that the quote did not accompany this illustration, as the quote is so well known in history that it needs know explanation.
Digicel posted the image on their social media channels where it was shared and liked thousands of time. Usain Bolt, who has long credited Ali as one of his greatest inspirations also picked it up and posted it to his social media channels where it spread across the world
